Eligibility: East Coast Roofing, Siding & Windows’ “Annual Roof Giveaway” (the “Giveaway”) is open to legal residents of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Salem, and Somerset Counties of New Jersey in the United States except for employees, officers, directors, and shareholders (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of East Coast Roofing Corporation Inc. (hereafter “Sponsor” and “Administrator”), their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, distributors, retailers and advertising, promotion, licensing and public relations agencies (collectively, “Giveaway Parties”). Nominees must be 18 years old or older to be nominated and win. Participation constitutes the nominee’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
Promotion Period: Entries will be accepted for the Giveaway from Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 12:00:01am Eastern Time (“ET”) through Wednesday, November 30, 2023 at 11:59:59pm ET (the “Promotion Period”).
How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, guests can go online to EastCoastRoofing.com/RoofGiveaway and follow the Giveaway instructions to submit an online nomination. Nominations must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for selection. When nomination form is completed, the nominee will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Giveaway. Nominators are limited to one (1) nomination and nominees are limited to receive one (1) nomination during the Promotion Period. Nominator is able to nominate their family or another family. Sponsor is not responsible for late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. All required information must be included to be eligible. This is a rolling application process; nominators and nominees can be contacted at any time in the future.
Winner Selection: Two (2) winners will be selected by a selection committee comprised of executives of the Sponsor by Friday, December 9, 2022 from all eligible nominations received during the Promotion Period. The winning nominees’ nominators will be notified by email and phone to schedule the presentation to the winning nominees. Failure to respond to the notification within ten (10) business days will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. In the event a winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate selections will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. Prize will be fulfilled approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks after the winners are confirmed, weather permitting. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of alternate winner(s), if any. All nominations are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes. Eligibility, age, and claims made by prize winners also are subject to verification prior to awarding prizes.
Any and all taxes on the prize, and any other costs, fees, and expenses not explicitly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the prize recipient.
Prize: One (1) roof replacement on the house listed in the online nomination form. Prize is not redeemable for cash value and must be accepted as awarded. Prize is also non-transferable.
Release: By receipt of any prize, each winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Giveaway Parties, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Nominators and nominees are required to execute all waivers and release agreements required by Sponsor.
Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Giveaway constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of the winners’ names, likeness, photograph, video, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. Nominator agrees to keep strictly confidential all information about the Giveaway that they acquire during the nominee selection process and/or nominator’s participation in the Giveaway. If the nominators’ nominee is selected as a winner, Sponsor has no obligation to broadcast or exploit the Giveaway. Nominators agree to appear on camera if requested to explain why the nominee was nominated, why the nominee deserves the Prize, why the nominee needs the Prize, and how the Prize will help the nominee’s family.
General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the nomination process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by nominators, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the nomination process for the Giveaway; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of nominations; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from nominator’s participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason a nominator’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the nominator’s sole remedy is another nomination in the Giveaway, provided that, if it is not possible to award another nomination due to discontinuance of the Giveaway, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a nominee selection from among all eligible nominations received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event production, technical, seeding, programming, or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by nominee selection among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.
Jury Trial Waiver: Except where prohibited by law and as a condition of participating in this Giveaway, nominator hereby waives any right it may have to a trial by jury in respect of any litigation directly or indirectly arising out of, under, or in connection with this Giveaway, any document or agreement entered into in connection herewith and any of the transactions contemplated hereby or thereby.

Winner and Official Rules: During the Promotion Period, the Official Rules can be found at EastCoastRoofing.com/RoofGiveaway. Winners will be announced through social media posts, public relations, and other forms of media outlets once the winners have claimed.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The conduct of this Giveaway and the application of these Official Rules shall be governed by the law of the State of New Jersey USA, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event any dispute arises regarding the Giveaway or prize.
